How did I find this book?

I received an ARC of this book in exchange of a review! This book intrigued me a lot. Plus, the main character has my name, Melissa. So I’m super excited to read this one! I might even start it tonight ;) I haven’t read the first book, but apparently it can be read as a stand-alone.
